KEY STRATEGIES
Empower individuals through seamstress training, job placement assistance, & employment.
Cultivate, retain, and attract fashion designers through professional development opportunities such as seminars, workshops, online video content, documentary screenings, fabric trade shows, and networking events.
Offer public sewing and fashion design classes, and apparel production services to fashion entrepreneurs, including: pattern making, sample sewing, sourcing assistance, size chart development, grading, and cut-and-sew production.
In October 2020, Rightfully Sewn became a subsidiary of Alphapointe, a non-profit organization based in Kansas City that is dedicated to empowering people with vision loss to achieve their goals and aspirations. The purpose of joining Alphapointe was to amplify and expand Rightfully Sewn’s capabilities.
