Join us for a fun and easy project! In this class, you will construct a pillow by sewing different pieces of fabric together using your choice of thread colors in a variety of different machine stitches. “Crazy quilts” are a good project to use up left over scraps from other projects that you might have laying around.

Students will:

• Be given examples of “crazy quilts;”

• Cut fabric into different shapes for their pillow;

• Explore different stitch settings on the home sewing machines used in the class;

• Determine which size and shape they want their pillow to be, and sew it into that shape, as well as stuff the pillow and finish it.

All sewing tools will be provided by Rightfully Sewn Academy and it's donors in order to promote and encourage a sustainable future in the fashion industry. Rightfully Sewn has fabric available for you to use, but if you want to purchase a specific fabric & thread color for this project, the yardage amount will be sent after purchase of class.
